SAYN ("we", "our", "the extension") is a Chrome Extension that provides Instagram follower analytics. This Privacy Policy explains how SAYN handles information when you use our extension.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

SAYN does not collect, transmit, store on external servers, or share any of the following:

• Your Instagram username, password, or credentials
• Your follower or following lists
• Your Instagram session tokens or cookies
• Any personally identifiable information
• Browsing history or activity outside of instagram.com
• Financial or payment information

3. Data Stored Locally

SAYN stores the following data exclusively in your browser's localStorage on your own device:

• Scan results (follower/following lists for comparison)
• Whitelist of accounts you've saved
• Extension settings and preferences
• License key (for PRO users)
• Scan history (last 10 scans)

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

4. Instagram API Usage

SAYN makes requests to Instagram's internal API endpoints using your existing Instagram session (cookies). These requests are made directly from your browser to Instagram's servers — identical to how Instagram's own website operates. We do not intercept, store, or forward this data.

5. Permissions Explanation

• activeTab — To detect and interact with the instagram.com tab
• scripting — To inject the analytics panel on instagram.com
• storage — To save scan history and settings locally
• cookies — To read Instagram session for API authentication
• tabs — To detect if the active tab is instagram.com

6. Third-Party Services

SAYN PRO uses Lemon Squeezy for payment processing. When you purchase SAYN PRO, Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy applies to the payment transaction. SAYN only receives a license key — no payment details are visible to us.

7. Children's Privacy

SAYN is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
